Staying at PleasureHunt Festival

PleasureHunt Festival is a 2-day, 3-night camping festival held at Bear Paw Ranch in the beautiful Alberta countryside.

Your home for the weekend can be as simple as a tent beneath the trees or as cozy as your own little setup inside your vehicle or RV. However you choose to stay, we encourage you to create a space that feels comfortable, nourishing and uniquely yours.

Camping Options

⛺ Tent Camping

Bring your tent, bedding and whatever creature comforts help you settle in.

Tent camping is available throughout designated areas of the property. You are welcome to make your campsite your own little sanctuary for the weekend with cozy bedding, rugs, lights, chairs or anything else that helps you feel at home.

Remember that September nights in Alberta can get quite cool, even when the days are warm. Warm bedding, layers and weather-appropriate gear are highly recommended.

🚙 Car Camping

Prefer sleeping in your vehicle?

Car camping is welcome in designated areas. Vans, SUVs and other sleep-in vehicle setups can be a great option for anyone wanting a little more shelter from the elements without bringing a tent.

🚐 RVs & Camper Trailers

A limited number of RV and camper trailer sites are available for the weekend.

Powered sites are available for an additional $35/night. Because RV spaces are limited, they must be reserved in advance.

If you’d like to save yourself a spot, please reach out to Brittany directly to reserve your RV site.

🚿 Bathrooms & Showers

You don’t have to completely rough it.

The property has access to:

  • Indoor heated bathroom facilities
  • Accessible bathroom options
  • Additional dry toilets/portable toilets throughout the festival grounds
  • Hot showers available for $1

We still recommend bringing your usual camping toiletries, towel, shower shoes and anything else that helps you feel comfortable.

🔥 Shared Festival Spaces

Your campsite may be where you sleep, but much of PHF life happens throughout the property.

During the weekend you’ll also have access to spaces for cooking, eating, warming up, resting and connecting with others, including our collective kitchen and fire, indoor heated Dungeon and cozy retreat spaces.

PHF also has a wood-fired sauna and onsite BearSpa offerings for those wanting a little extra warmth and restoration during the weekend.

Alberta September Weather

PHF happens during that beautiful transition between summer and autumn.

That means we could experience warm sunshine, chilly evenings, rain, wind or a little bit of everything.

Prepare for both warm days and cold nights.

A warm sleeping bag, extra blankets, waterproof layers, warm socks, toque and clothing you can layer will make your weekend much more comfortable.

Make Yourself at Home

  • We want PHF to feel like a little village we create together for the weekend.

Bring what helps your nervous system settle.

  • Bring the pillow you love.

    Bring the ridiculous fluffy blanket.

  • String some lights around your tent.

    Make tea before bed.

  • Create somewhere you can retreat when you need quiet and somewhere that feels good to return to after a full day of exploring.

For three nights, this little piece of land gets to become home.
