What is PleasureHunt Festival?

PleasureHunt Festival is a 2-day immersive camping festival focused on exploring pleasure, embodiment, consent, intimacy, and human connection through workshops, experiences, and community — including discussions, somatic practices, sound baths & movement, sauna & play spaces, community connection, and optional nighttime play spaces within a consent-forward environment.

Who is this for?

PHF welcomes adults curious about pleasure, consent, relationships, embodiment, communication, sexual healing, personal growth, and community. Singles, couples, experienced explorers, and complete beginners are all welcome — no prior experience needed.

Where is it held?

Bear Paw Ranch, Cynthia, Alberta.
More info about the Venue can be found here

What about camping and lodging?

PleasureHunt is grounded in a connection to nature through camping, which is included with your ticket. Bring a tent setup, an RV or trailer, or do car camping.

What about food?

This event is not catered — please BRING YOUR OWN FOOD as you would for camping. There is an outdoor communal kitchen space and BBQs available for everyone to use.

Is this event 18+? How is age verified?

Yes — this is a strict adults-only event. Government-issued photo ID is required at check-in; entry is refused without valid ID.

What’s the dress code?

Anything or nothing at all. Strong synthetic fragrances are discouraged out of care for those with scent sensitivities.

Is this a sex party?

No. PHF is an educational and experiential festival centered on healing sexual shame, discovering desires, and exploring pleasure, embodiment, and intimacy. Consensual erotic exploration is available for those who choose it, but participation is always optional and never pressured. Your “no” is welcome here.

What is the substance use policy?

PHF is not a sober/recovery event, nor one that encourages alcohol or recreational drug use. We ask attendees not to enter workshops, community spaces, or erotic experiences while intoxicated or impaired, so consent and presence can be practiced with care.

What’s the consent policy?

Consent is mandatory for any physical contact, participation, or photography. “No” (or hesitation) means stop immediately, and consent can be withdrawn at any time. A mandatory consent workshop opens the festival for all participants.

Is sexual activity allowed? Where?

Only in clearly designated spaces and your personal areas. Some common areas are for socializing and programming. Volunteer staff can guide you on-site.

Can I attend solo? Is it couple-only?

Solo attendees are welcome. Some activities may be pair/group-based, but participation is always optional.

What’s your photography / recording policy?

No unauthorized photography or video of other participants. Designated photographers follow clear rules and require consent; staff may ask to delete content and may remove violators.

How do you protect privacy and discretion?

We don’t publish attendee lists, check-in is discreet, and staff/volunteers are trained on confidentiality. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What happens if someone violates consent or conduct rules?

Report it immediately. Depending on severity we may warn, remove, ban, cancel tickets, and/or contact security or emergency services.

What safety resources are on site?

A trained safety team, contraceptives, hygiene products, water stations, quiet/cool-down areas, first aid, emergency response procedures, and coordination with venue security.

Is there a way to report something anonymously?

Yes — confidential and, where possible, anonymous reporting. Email support with any concern before or during the festival, including questions not answered here.
